Component libraryComponents
Base UI
Unstyled React components from the people behind Radix, Material UI and Floating UI.

What it is
Base UI is a newer library of headless React components built by maintainers from Radix, MUI and Floating UI. It covers the same territory as Radix Primitives (dialogs, menus, selects, sliders) with a more consistent API and a focus on composition. You bring the styling.
Why it’s here
A serious alternative to Radix for new projects. The API is cleaner in places and the team has a long track record. Worth considering if you're starting fresh rather than adopting shadcn/ui wholesale.
Best for
- custom-styled components
- design-system foundations
- accessible interactions
